The pressure continues to mount on Warren Fox as his blackmailer attempts to drive a wedge between him and Sienna Blake.
The Hollyoaks hard man has been terrorised by a mystery person for weeks, but it’s about to get worse.
Here Jamie Lomas, who plays Warren, reveals his alter ego is out of control…
So what is happening with Warren this week?
This week Sienna goes in for her operation, but when Warren is out of the room she opens a letter from his blackmailer, which says that Warren has been lying to her. Obviously, there’s a tonne of emotions for Sienna and Warren is very nervous when he finds out. This all happens so quickly, and then Sienna is taken into surgery. Warren is just devastated because he knows the risk Sienna is facing, and he realises that his affair with Grace shouldn’t have happened because it’s Sienna that he really loves.
What goes through Warren’s head when he discovers Sienna has got the blackmailer’s letter?
Sienna is pregnant and has cancer, so he is concerned about the babies and he’s worried about her. He doesn’t want to be found out, but he’s got no idea who’s sending the letters and he doesn’t want to put Sienna through any stress when she’s going through everything else. His main focus is to try and find out who is doing this to him.
Warren seems to be getting really worked up over this blackmailer, is there someone he has in mind or is he frustrated because he can’t work it out?
I think he’s extremely frustrated because he can’t work it out. Warren is a smart cookie and he likes to be in control, so for him to be out of control – he doesn’t like it. It’s a territory that he’s not used to. He doesn’t know who it is, he has his suspicions but there’s no concrete evidence.
What goes through Warren’s head when he watches Sienna be wheeled away into the operation?
He’s devastated. He realises how much he truly loves Sienna, so the fact that he might actually lose her and the twins is devastating for him. He realises how much he has taken her for granted. They have this really weird relationship where they can’t live with each other, but also can’t live without each other. When it’s good, it’s really good but when it’s bad, it’s terrible.
Do you think Warren and Sienna will ever be able to trust each other?
No! I don’t think so – too much has happened, but they just can’t seem to let go of each other. They’re always trying to get one up on each other, which means it just doesn’t work, but they don’t want to let go.
What would be the ideal outcome for Warren?
Deep down I think he wants to be a good person, but trouble follows him everywhere and that’s just who he is. The ideal outcome would definitely be a normal family life, but I don’t think that is ever going to be the way for him.
If there were anyone else in the village you could see with Warren, who would it be?
I don’t know who’d put up with him! Maybe something with Darcy as I think that would be an interesting pairing. Aisling is a great actress and she’s dark as well, so I’d like to see them together and see where they’d go.
